Paint

It has now been about a month since Daniel tried taking a bath in our sink and we now have a completely new paint job throughout our house. We love it. The insurance covered the cost to paint our family room, kitchen, living room, and upstairs hallway (we decided to pay a little extra to get out Master painted as well). It is amazing how nice a two-toned house looks. Here are some before and after shots

This was the most perilous part-- I guess our ceiling is over 20 ft. tall at this point, so they had to get very creative on how to paint up so high. I was impressed by their use of ladders, cinder blocks and scaffolding.

The final result. Isn't the two-tone nice. We also did 3 accent walls with a darker brown. It really is stunning! So after 2 weeks of trying to keep the kids out of Jeff's and Gabe's way we now love our new house and are secretly thanking Daniel for making this all happen.
