Quad

Last Memorial Day weekend we went up to Strawberry to Darin's parents cabin to hang out. Darin's brother Glen and his family joined us. We thought we would have a nice relaxing weekend, which it was until Saturday night. Rylie refused to go to sleep.

Heidi stayed up with her till about 1:30am trying to get her to go to sleep. Rylie refused. Darin then took his turn and ended up staying up with her until 4:30am. She finally crashed and we could put her to bed. Darin then slept the remaining 2 and 1/2 hours in the lazy-boy chair, until the kids woke up at 6:30.

The next day we were groggy and grumpy and had exhausted our reserve of patience, so we made an executive decision to not chance another repeat night like that again so we went home early.

But before we left Daniel got to ride around on Glen's quad a few times. The expression on his face was priceless. When then came back he kept telling Glen "do it again!" We're lucky to have an awesome uncle like Glen who shares his toys with us. We will definitely do it again soon. (After Rylie learns to sleep better on trips away from home.)
