Christmas time is here

Actually it was here last week. We were bored last Monday and decided to put up our Christmas tree as a family activity. Decorating the tree went much better this year, Daniel helped put the ornaments on instead of taking them down.

Thanksgiving is like a speed bump on the way to Christmas. At least in the retail world. But lets be honest, you don't really decorate anything for thanksgiving do you? They should put Thanksgiving in March when we're all dying for another holiday/vacation.

Here's our humble tree. I'm not sure how Heidi ended up with a stocking bigger than everyone else's or how she plans to get away with it.



This is a Christmas windmill that Heidi got from her mom, it came from Germany. If Daniel hadn't taken all the candles out you could light a candle on each corner then the heat from the candle would make the fan turn and the little people go round.


This will be another fun family activity. I should have pictures of us putting it together soon.
