Diamondbacks

We went to the Arizona Diamondbacks game the other day. I'm not much of a baseball fan. I know who the Diamondbacks are but that's about the end of my statistical baseball knowledge. Although I don't keep up with who's who and what team is where, it sure is fun to go watch a game. Heidi's dad is visiting us again so he treated us this time and took us.

We bought the cheapest tickets we could then walked around the second level until we found an entrance that wasn't currently being manned by one of the uniformed stadium ushers and went in. So our seats were actually pretty good, near home plate.

I like this picture because it shows my vantage point from my seat. The stair rail covered the pitchers mound and followed the pitchers line exactly ending over home plate. We eventually slide down one seat so I could see better.

A nice view of the field

Heidi and her dad, Rylie tagged along with us.

Me and Heidi, I was careful to avoid eye contact with the usher when she came back and looked a little suspicious of us sitting there.

After the game they let all the kids that wanted to run the bases. You can see them all lined up in the lower aisles.

Jim saw this humongous scoreboard and was so excited, he said "This is a statistical paradise!" It sure was.
