Strawberry AZ

A couple of weekends ago the guys in my family made a trip to Strawberry. My parents own a cabin there and it needed some maintenance work done. It was a nice break from the growing summer heat. We cleaned up the pine needles around the property, cut back the weeds and grass and hauled it to the dump then replaced a couple of steps on the porch and repainted the entire back porch. It was a lot of fun and I hope we can do it again. I mean, get together again at least. It felt like another Fathers & Sons camp out that we used to go on as a family back in the day.

No Capture The Flag this time, but we did eat an entire box of twinkies and quoted Chevy Chase movie lines.
