Everyone knows that there are significant events in a child's growth that just bolster up your pride as a parent: rolling over the first time, first steps, first words, first poop in the potty training seat. I just can't wait to get to work and brag to my co-workers. Today was actually Daniels 2nd poop in the training seat. He came up to me, points to his crotch with a concerned look on his face and I take the hint immediately. He runs ahead of me to the bathroom and I help him get on the potty seat.
After a minute he dropped a load that was so impressive that he set off the potty-seat happy music 6 times. We even had to turn on the bathroom fan. That's my boy! We saved it to show off to mom who was of course duly impressed. The best part was his expression in between waves. He would pause to look down in the seat at his work in progress then look back up at me and give me his best cheesy grin smile he could muster. They mature so fast...

Hi Darin, This is Julie from your old ward. I lost your phone # and just found the christmas envelope where it listed your blog address. So please, have Heidi call or email me. Now, about this post...I am a little jealous that Daniel is already on the toilet. Jarom could care less!!
