Ah, the joys of the hot AZ summers really comes to full light this time of year. Everyone is so eager for it to cool down, but no-- we still are in the high 100's with no real forecast of cooler weather soon. At this point I think most Arizonans get really fidgety of being in our homes all summer long and just long to get out and enjoy outside again. On Monday I was really feeling cooped up so decided to take my kids to the zoo. After getting Rylie and Daniel ready, I quickly went to get some last minute things finished up to find Rylie and Daniel in the backyard doing this:
They ended up having so much fun that I decided to just enjoy our backyard instead. We had a great day of playing in water, enjoyed activities at home and came to a re-realization that we still love it here even if it is stinking hot.
