So tonight Darin was reading books with Daniel when Daniel blurts out, "Knock, knock." Darin of course answers, "who's there?" Much to our surprise Daniel then went on to say, "Ivan. Ivan who?... Ivan knocking on the door." Both Darin and I had to make him resay it before we realized that he really said a knock knock joke. We were very impressed. Crazy part was this morning Rylie was saying, "knock, knock..." Where are they getting this stuff? Too funny.
I do have to say they are much more comically inclined than me. At their age I was saying knock, knock jokes, but my joke was apple bird. I would then break into hysterical laughter thinking I was the funniest person alive. Needless to say I'm still a little slow when it comes to cracking good jokes.
