They were not sharing, or being cute. They were purposely bickering and fighting. I tried to intervene and tried to be the inter-mediator. My efforts were futile. This is nothing short of classic sibling rivalry.
Each one wanted all the books the other had. They weren't really interested in reading the book, they just wanted it so the other wouldn't have it.
Lets talk about sharing. NO!!
Why don't you just open one book and both look at it together? NO!!!

After about 30 minutes of some serious diplomacy, I finally got them to switch one book. Then they started again.
Rylie, Daniel said very nicely that he would like to read that book now. NO!!! He is offering to give you this one, if you will give him that one. NO!!!! (vigorous shaking of the head) WAAAAH!!!
I gave up. I got out the marble set and moved on to something new.
