We got our kitchen table and chairs at a garage sale 5 years ago when we first moved to AZ. It has been a good table, but the chairs were covered in white fabric. Once Daniel could move it was quickly clear that this just wouldn't work. Our chairs constantly looked filthy and I always was reluctant to sit down. Finally, I finally bought some fabric at JoAnns and tried recovering them. It worked great, until we realized that the material I chose quickly ripped-- so everytime Rylie or Daniel climbed on it a new tear would appear.
Finally after duct taping our chairs a few times (which looked hideous), I decided to finally get the right material and try it again. Here is the result. We love the new chairs and so far no tears.
