In this training exercise Daniel would unroll the toilet roll paper and direct it to Rylie. It was then Rylie's job to shred it into small unusable pieces.
This next scheme was accomplished with great team work. Daniel brought his chocolate milk over by Rylie and Rylie "accidentally" knocked it over. It was more fun to play in than a mud puddle. This mess they got to slurp off the floor.
Although he has a partner, his partner was taking a nap when the next opportunity arose. Daniel demonstrates below that he is still the master of mess making. He found the Neosporin and not only put it all over himself because he said his foot hurt, but he managed to spread a nice layer on the couch as well.
Not pictured: Another day Daniel found the tub of vasaline and decided he needed to lather himself, mostly on his head. Unfortunately I intervened too quickly before I thought about taking a picture and quickly had vasaline all over myself so I didn't want to touch the camera.
Although I did learn never to try and shampoo vasaline out of hair alone. That only helps to spread it around everywhere. What wonderful things we learn as parents: love, patience, understanding and the chemical properties of cornmeal that allow it to bind to vasaline and absorb it so it can then be washed out. Thank you Google.
Oh my heavens - that looks tricky to clean. Now was this all happening in one day?? No wonder parents are tired. They are so cute together - those partners in crime. :)

ReplyDeleteOkay, I know it's not supposed to be funny when they are that bad but it totally is. He is such a mischievious little boy it cracks me up!! Just think, all future Phelps kids have him for a role model...you're in for a world of hurt!! Or he is.
