One day my sister in law called and invited us to go play in the irrigation at her dad's acre lot home. I had no idea what to expect, but wow, it turned out to be such a fun day. The kids loved playing in the water and there was a great zip line that Daniel just couldn't get enough of. Even Wyatt loved being in the water (scaring me to death), but luckily by the end him and Rylie were more than content to relax in the shade with mommy!

A friend of mine also invited us to a historical museum not too far away. Again, wasn't sure what to expect, but the kids loved it. Here are a few of the kids loving being cowboys and enjoying their miniature cars. They had great areas where the kids could play and ride on toys and even some crafts! Right at the end they had a dance competition and Rylie and Daniel rocked it on the dance floor. Unfortunately they didn't win.

Daniel has been going to movies each Friday with his cousins. One Friday they went out of town so we go to invite a bunch of friends to join us. The kids were in heaven watching Despicable Me. I don't think you can see their faces too well in these pictures, but they were completely mesmerized.

We just got back from a 3 day vacation in Southern CA. We had such a great time. My friend gets discounted hotel rooms, so we got to stay all 3 nights for less than the cost of 1 night. Can't beat that. We ended up mainly hanging out at the beach, but also hit an aquarium and dinner out! Upon arriving at the beach, Daniel had a quick scare when a wave immediately pushed him over and took his 2 boats and his shoes. I luckily was able to recover his shoes, but the boats were goners. It was perfect because it made all of my kids just enough scared of the water so that they mainly played in the sand and only ventured in the water with an adult (that is of course until day 2 when their confidence was regained). All in all it was a fabulous trip and we really enjoyed hanging out with our buddies. I do have to say that these are the types of vacations that I need a serious vacation to revive.

Next vacation is UT! We can't wait to see our family and just enjoy being in cool UT.
