Daniel sure is becoming perceptive and noticing things more. We went for a walk yesterday evening and he watched an airplane fly by way up in the sky. He recently learned how to point. His favorite thing to point at is the microwave. He'll crawl over to the kitchen, then sit back on the heels of his feet, point at the microwave and say "da" as if to say "look dad, there's a microwave over there!" And then he'll keep doing that every time he goes in the kitchen: point, "da," "there it is again!"
He's exploring our backyard more, he loves being outside. I think he's ok with the concept of grass, but he's unsure about the texture. He won't touch he's knees down when he crawls, so he crawls on only his hands and feet with his butt sticking way up on the air. Then when he reaches the porch and gets off the grass he goes back to crawling on his hands and knees.
Here he is practicing his basketball pose.
